This is the first
of a series dealing with the history and politics of the Turkish
Republic as they are perceived in the
various documents preserved at the U.S. National Archives and Records
Administration, College Park,
Maryland. The work is a
compilation of 16 documents covering three primary subjects: (1) political
currents and organizations among Turkish university students, (2) the Turkish
Left and (3) a Leftist journal from the 1960s, Yon.
